Word, Excel, and Acrobat files are pushed to you in real time for your future reference. Exercises, focused on the web tools you need to research your study, are conducted in break-out sessions; the results are compared with your classmates’ for benchmarking. Workshops are completed on-screen, and viewed together for learning. This is a webinar.

To keep it reality-based, we see each other with web-cams and speak to each other via teleconference. To keep resources handy, course books are shipped ahead of time so you easily follow along. We use state-of-the-art WebEx training center technology. There is no software to download, no special equipment to buy. How many people can attend? As many as you can position around your computer screen. You get one set of course materials free, and can buy extras as needed.

Webinars are two-day events featuring the same course content as our famous in-hotel programs. To encourage networking class sizes are limited to ten registrations, which are sold by computer connection. Many companies have webinar parties, catering in lunch or breakfast—one group ordered flapjacks and maple syrup!

E-conferences are 90-minute slices of current content designed to accommodate busy people. They use the same high technology and rich interaction as webinars, but with larger audiences.

Webinars and e-conferences are better than hotel conferences. More content, more color, more resources, and no travel make for information transfer that is simply unbeatable.

    Continuing Education Units

    ISPE will provide continuing education units (ISPE CEUs) for all North American seminars and courses, including educational programming at the ISPE Annual Meeting. CEUs are nationally recognized units of achievement designed for those individuals continuing their education in their chosen field or profession.

    Delegates attending European seminars and courses will receive a Certificate of Attendance, as ISPE CEUs are currently not offered at European events. Verification of CEUs is based on attendance as well as satisfactory completion of all evaluation materials. Statements of credit will be mailed within four weeks of evaluation materials. One-hour of education programming equals 0.1 ISPE CEU credits.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be made in writing. If cancellations are received 4 days prior to the date of the scheduled webinar, a full refund, minus a $25.00 handling fee, will be issued. After that time, no refunds will be granted. If the registrant is unable to attend, substitutions will be accepted. Substitutions must be sent at least 24 hours prior to the starting time of the scheduled webinar; in addition, nonmembers substituting for members must pay the difference in fees prior to the start of the event. This policy only applies to webinars independent of related courses and conferences. Certain restrictions apply. Contact ISPE for details.
